It is never too late to learn a language.   What better way than to be 100% immerse?  You're forced to think in another language, think as the locals do, and truly grasp what it means to be someone that lives in that particular area!

Delve into a new language. This is a great opportunity to take Spanish lessons while being part of a community project in Ayacucho. Be fully immersed in Peruvian culture, learn Spanish, live with a local host family, all the while contributing to a community led program. Spanish lessons are generally 20 hours per week.  The rest of your time will be dedicated to your volunteer project.

Our language immersion program can be combined with any of the Ayacucho based volunteer projects: teaching, medical, and orphanage support or the pre-medical. Language lessons are given by local tutors. Lessons focus on conversation practice, grammar, vocabulary and will be customized based on your Spanish levels.

WHAT DO MY FEES PAY FOR?

When you join an A Broader View program your financial contribution supports the hundreds of needy communities where our volunteer programs are based.  Donations are helping to stimulate the local economies with coordinator and hosting jobs, with new constructions at local school and orphanage, with much needed medical supplies to under served hospitals and clinics.

ABV works tirelessly year round to support our volunteers, and also to serve the local communities where we are based.  As a tax exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit charity organization we receive 100% of our funding from our volunteers' program fee donations. Your program fee is used for airport pick up & transfer, departure transfer, placement logistics, orientation, food & accommodations, in-country assistance as well as programmatic administrative support and continuity of our volunteer programs.   If you have questions about our program fees email to [email protected] or call us toll free at 866-423-3258.
