This village school has children ranging from 4yrs to 12 years.  You would be teaching English, math, and other subjects.  After school activities like sports, and games can be shared with the kids also.  Teaching experience is not required. You can begin as a teaching assistant and then work in small groups with children in need of extra attention.

School terms vary from year to year but semesters dates are approximately:
February 1 to April 30
May 20 to August 30
September 15 to November 15

Volunteers can assist with the physical upkeep of the school; painting, decorating, mending desks etc. Most important volunteers should try to develop activities  that can be sustained in the future.

WHAT DO MY FEES PAY FOR?

When you join an A Broader View program your financial contribution supports the hundreds of needy communities where our volunteer programs are based.  Donations are helping to stimulate the local economies with coordinator and hosting jobs, with new constructions at local school and orphanage, with much needed medical supplies to under served hospitals and clinics.

ABV works tirelessly year round to support our volunteers, and also to serve the local communities where we are based.  As a tax exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit charity organization we receive 100% of our funding from our volunteers' program fee donations. Your program fee is used for airport pick up & transfer, departure transfer, placement logistics, orientation, food & accommodations, in-country assistance as well as programmatic administrative support and continuity of our volunteer programs.   If you have questions about our program fees email to [email protected] or call us toll free at 866-423-3258.
