The name of Escazu comes from the indigenous voice ‘Iz-Kat-Zú’, which means ‘place to rest’, the town also known as San Miguel de Escazú.
As a teaching volunteer in Costa Rica you will significantly contribute to the welfare of the education system and get a new perspective of life in Costa Rica.
Volunteer at a school project which supports orphans and provides education to vulnerable in the community and surrounding areas. The school was founded as a result of the increasing inequality and privation of the plight of the child in accessing basic education and care in rural areas outside of Lusaka.
