What was most difficult thing you experienced while in the program?
The most surprising thing that I experienced during the program was differences in approaches to dental treatment, LA is only used for RCT and extraction also great differences in sterilization and materials used.

How was the local Coordinator and the staff and the support provided in-country?
The local coordinator and staff were very good and welcoming and the dental hospital supervisor was proud of his practice.

What was the most surprising thing you experienced while in the program?
The most difficult during the program we were hoping for more hands on experience has learnt huge amount.

Any tips for future volunteers….(clothing, travel information, packing, sightseeing, donations)

My ABV experiences that I will never forget have learn’t heaps about dentistry and it has been an amazing experience. I love the Nepalese culture and way of life.

How would you describe your accommodation, meals, security?
How friendly the Nepalese people are although the trip to the hospital was always a crazy experience in the micro bus, people were always happy to help and point us in the right direction when we look lost.
