1.-How was the local ABV Coordinator and the support provided in-country?
Excellent I always felt safe support by Rafael.  With Joel I was able to see the city, the tour was well organized & I felt safe through the market + the stores + streets + parks.

2- What was the most surprising thing you experienced?
At the program: How little the hospital has – no water old equipment but how the dentists have a great attitude + treat patients with respect + dignity no matter how rich or poor and are happy to treat patients with a good attitude.
At the accommodation: Cold water took some getting used to build us amazing how well you can manage with so little.
About the country: It is beautiful in so many ways, But the people especially are the nicest and most welcoming.

3- What was most difficult to experience?
At the program:  Communication.   I wish I had more Spanish. But it was amazing how much you can communicate while you have common goals.
At the accommodation: Nothing.  Fania was wonderful.
The country: Nothing. I learned you can do with very little + felt the neighborhood was very safe.

5- Personal Paragraph (ABV Program Testimonial)
It was eye opening to see how similar both Honduras + The USA have problems bringing dental care to the poor.  It was common  seeing teeth extracted rather than preventative care practices shown or taught.

6- How would you describe your accommodation, meals and security:
Excellent security, I missed most vegetables and don't want to see another diet soda ever!! : )

7- What was your favorite memory of this trip?
Program: The doctors were wonderful, helpful, patient with the lack of communication as my Spanish isn’t as good as it should be.
Country: The people were friendly and accepting of help.

8.- How was the ABV USA support prior traveling?
Communication (Phone/emails/Online chat):  The email communication was wonderful because I am busy at work and could answer + communicate at my convenience.
Website Information: Excellent.

9 – Are you willing to speak to other potential ABV volunteers?
Yes, I would be happy to speak to others about my experience.
