1- How was the local ABV Coordinator/staff and the support provided in-country?
Beatriz was very efficient, professional, compassionate and fun!  She helped us navigate our way through this whole experience.

2- What was the most surprising thing you experienced?
Program: The conditions at the orphanage were much better than expected.
Host Family: How accommodating they were! Treated us truly like family.
Country: Ease in taxi service.

3- What was the most challenging thing you experienced?
Program: We found it flexible and not challenging.
Host Family: Food!
Country: Not flashing toilet paper!

4- Any tips for future volunteers… (clothing, travel, personal items, donations)
1. Pack lightly for layering.
2. My luggage was lost and not found to date – Beatriz was so helpful.
3. Pack toiletries in carry on and change of clothing.
4. Reasonable requests but be as generous as you can.

5.1-Other things volunteers should know before coming here:
The guide was very thorough but you have to experience the culture to fully understand.

6- Personal Paragraph about the experience (ABV Program Testimonial):
One I will cherish always!  I have never volunteered in quite this way before and it has been life-changing.  Thankful beyond words.

7- How would you describe your accommodation, meals, security, friendliness, quality others:
We have learned to be open-minded and open-hearted.  Flexibility is a must to make the most of the experience.

8- What was your favorite memory of this trip?:
Program: The precious girls!
Host Family:   How wonderful they were.  Celebrated a birthday with the whole family.
Country: The beauty of the mountains and the children.

9- How was the ABV USA support prior traveling? (who helped you, emails, phone calls, chat online, how fast did you got an answer, did you got all your answers)
Emails were always answered within the day and there was always some one available when I called.

9.1- What do you think about the reservation system online?
Very well.

User friendly.
